Sanford SLAM: Snacks, Laughs, Art & Movement Aftercare (Gr: 1-5)SLAM AftercareSnacks, Laughs, Art & Movement Aftercare is for students attending MPS Summer scholars at Green or Folwell. Wind down after camp with creative activities, games, and movement. This program blends fun, relaxation, and connection. There is no transportation provided from SLAM, Students must be picked up at 4:00 pm. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT ONLY A CERTAIN NUMBER OF SPACES WILL BE AVAILABLE AT EACH SLAM LOCATION. The application opens February 22nd at 5 pm. You will want to apply right away. Self Defense Workshop for Women & Girls (Southwest)Health, Wellness & SafetyAttend this demonstration workshop that promotes community wellness and security. Class is a mix of lecture and practice. Wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes if you want to practice the skills. Class is open to anyone who identifies as female or non-binary. You may bring a friend to practice with.
