(flickr) (CC BY 2.0)Circle of Security (18-36 months) Gradual SeparationOnes, Twos & ThreesThis is a gradual separation class (child and caregiver spend time together and practice spending time apart). The age range listed for this class is based on the child's age on the date the class session begins. This course is designed to help caregivers strengthen their relationship with their children by understanding and responding to their emotional needs. Based on decades of attachment research, The Circle of Security Parenting™ (COSP) offers a visual framework and practical tools to support secure caregiver-child relationships. This class includes videos, reflection, skill building and discussion, led by a registered COSP facilitator. A limited number of Infants 0-4 months are welcome to stay with caregivers during discussion time. Please enroll your young infant only in the Sibling Care option. NOTE: These young infants will remain with the caregivers during discussion time. ECFE classes are priced on a sliding fee schedule based on family income. Please choose the fee that best fits your family budget. A 10% surcharge will be applied to fees for Non-Minneapolis residents.2026-2027 ECFE Semester 1 -

Classes in Spanish¿Hablas español? ¡Ofrecemos clases en Español! Educación Familiar para la Niñez Temprana (Early Childhood Family Education) ofrece clases, programas y servicios para familias con niños pequeños, desde el nacimiento hasta la edad de kindergarten. Nos asociamos con ustedes para ofrecer oportunidades de aprendizaje significativo y divertido para sus hijos. En nuestras clases, los padres y los hijos participan juntos en un tiempo de grupo y actividades, seguido por una conversación con los padres facilitada por un educador de padres licenciado, quien trae información proveniente de investigaciones sobre la crianza de niños. Estas clases en español son ofrecidas en cuatro establecimientos en la ciudad, dos horas una vez por semana, y durante un semestre. Los pagos se basan en los ingresos y no rechazamos a nadie por no poder pagar. (La tarifa variable se encuentra en la página 17.) Contamos con transporte limitado si fuera necesario.
