Bike Tour: Lake of the Isles and Minneapolis Sculpture Garden w/ Mark Raderstorf
Want to take a deeper dive into those beautiful mansions around Lake of the Isles? Ever wonder how our fantastic Minneapolis Park System was developed? Join Mark Raderstorf, Chief Fun Officer for You Betcha Tours, on a bike tour around Lake of the Isles and the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden. You will learn about the history of the Minneapolis Parks, how it took root long before homes were built, and the people behind the vision and development of the parks. This tour will feature stops at notable mansions around the Lake of the Isles, the Mary Tyler Moore House, Peavey Fountain, Spoonbridge and Cherry, and the Whitney Bridge. Tour distance will be 8 miles. You must provide your own bike and bike helmet.

Mark Raderstorf has lived in the Lynhurst neighborhood for over 40 years. After he retired from his career as a psychologist, he launched his tour company, You Betcha Tours, in 2024. He now enjoys giving walking and biking tours of Minneapolis, where he is able to share his knowledge and love of the Twin Cities.
