Weaving: Paper Weaving (Ella Baker)

In this hands-on class, students will explore a variety of weaving techniques. Learn to design and cut weaving bases, experiment with color harmonies and textures, incorporate found papers, add texture using layering, and finishing and display options.

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist looking for inspiration, this course offers a balance of structure and freedom to explore your own style. By the end of the class, you’ll have several completed weavings and the skills to continue creating at home.

This class uses some hand strength (cutting paper) and is adaptable to varying levels of dexterity. All experience and skill levels are welcome.
