Figure out what to do in an emergency and learn new activities to do with children. You will walk away with a babysitter's pack that includes everything you need to start your babysitting business. You will also gain hands-on experience caring for younger children and assisting with youth Super Summer classes. This class does not include CPR. Grades are the year your student will be entering in the fall. A lunch is available to all students. Please select this option when you register. Community Education uses a sliding scale model for program fees so our summer programs can be financially sustainable and more equitable. The different prices reflect the average cost of offering a class as well as discounted options and options that help us cover our administrative costs. Babysitting: American Red Cross 11+ (Entering Gr. 6-9)Kenwood Super Summer CampsLearn about leadership, safety, basic first aid and child development from a professional. Figure out what to do in an emergency and learn new activities to do with children. You must be 11 years old by the end of class and pass a skills test to receive the certificate. This class does not include CPR. Register your child for a morning class and an afternoon class and we will provide lunch and supervision free of charge from 12-1 pm. When signing up for the morning class, you will be able to choose the option “Stay for free lunch and recess from 12:00 – 1:00 pm” as you complete your registration.
