Arts & Crafts Studio Unified

Join Craft Club, a fun and inclusive creative space where students of all abilities come together to make art, learn new skills, and build friendships. We work with clay, paper mache, paint, beads, and other mediums. This club is partnered with Unified through Special Olympics of Minnesota, celebrating inclusion and teamwork through hands-on projects and creative expression.

A Special Olympics Minnesota (SOMN) Unified after-school club is an inclusive student organization that brings together youth with and without intellectual disabilities to collaborate, socialize, and lead. Operating under SOMN’s Unified Champion Schools initiative, these clubs focus on building meaningful friendships, co-organizing inclusive sports or recreational activities, and running school-wide campaigns that promote acceptance and respect. By giving every student an equal voice in leadership and social events, the club works to eliminate stigma and foster a culture where everyone feels valued and included.

This is an ALC Extended Learning class and is paid for with state and federal funding.
