After School Youth ClassesOur programs serve youth in grades K-12 at Minneapolis Public School locations across the city to ensure all students have access to high quality programs. Community Education Youth Programs deliver a wide range of high-quality enrichment learning opportunities during out of school time (afterschool, release days, and summer). Community Education offerings support youth to develop strong peer relationships and foster new skills, through our intentional program design that fosters cultural identity, youth voice and leadership. In this live online class Kirsten will demonstrate a variety of recipes using in-season local and/or commonly available vegetables including Lemon Pepper Broccoli, Miso Sesame Kale Chips, and Roasted Sweet Potato Sticks. All Things Paint! (Gr. 1-2)Sanford Super Summer CampsCreate original works of art using watercolor, tempera and ink. Learn a variety of techniques that use dry brushes, sponges, and tissue paper. Grades are the year your student will be entering in the fall. A lunch is available to all students. Please select this option when you register. Community Education uses a sliding scale model for program fees so our summer programs can be financially sustainable and more equitable. The different prices reflect the average cost of offering a class as well as discounted options and options that help us cover our administrative costs.
