This is an Online class for Caregivers only. This course is designed to help caregivers strengthen their relationship with their children by understanding and responding to their emotional needs. Based on decades of attachment research, The Circle of Security Parenting™ (COSP) offers a visual framework and practical tools to support secure parent-child relationships. This class includes videos, reflection, skill building and discussion, led by a registered COSP facilitator. Link will be provided prior to start of class. Coffee Shop Band is an exciting musical opportunity for students to explore their musical interests and realize their full musical potential. Students will learn to develop their singing and instrumental skills (ukulele, baritone ukulele, percussion) to play and dissect songs they enjoy listening to. Instructor: Brandon Wu This class is funded through Extended Learning through Minneapolis Public Schools. Every student who is in an Extended Learning class after school must have a Continuous Learning Plan (CLP) that will need to be signed by a Parent/Guardian and returned. Your child's after school teacher will send this form home with your child the first week of class. This class begins on October 19th and ends on January 11th. **The deadline to request after school bussing beginning the first day was September 23rd. Registering after that day will result in a delay in a bus stop being available. You will be notified when a stop is available.
