Come along as we embark on quests and defeat monsters while traveling through frightening forests and the corners of cold castles. Learn how to create your dream character to play as during the week! Electric Foiling on a Wake Board (Southwest)Trips, Tours & Special EventsJoin us for our Intro to E Foiling - Electric Foiling on a Wake Board! After a short intro, you will go out on Lake Nokomis and test your new skills. Electric Foiling on a Wake Board is an introduction into the fun of eFoil riding! eFoils are wake boards with a mast and foil located on the very bottom. An electric motor for propulsion is located behind the foil. Riders will learn the technical terms for different parts of the eFoil, syncing the control to the board, and starting the motor with the hand control to mount the board. Riders will also learn to accelerate to plane-ing , and further to foil along with carve-ing. This class will meet you wherever you are physically. The boards are designed for riders under 260 pounds, but everyone is welcome to try. There is no correct way to ride—even riding on your front laying down like Superman (or super person) is one of the best experiences- about as close to flying without a valid pilot’s license. The only way to fail this class is to not arrive. EFoil Learning Fun! (ELF) EFoil Learning Fun. We will send an email with more info and exact meeting location at Lake Nokomis as we get closer to the date of your class. Space is limited to 6. WaitlistElectrical Circuits (Summer)Home & GardenThis is a two part session class. Part 1- - The instructor will discuss electrical theory and safety procedures when working around electricity. This is an introductory class designed for homeowners, or those who want to learn how to complete basic home electrical repairs for themselves. Students will learn about the different types of wire, circuit breakers, light switches, and wall receptacles and how to replace them. Part 2 - - There will be a “hands-on” application in class for each student to wire up three different circuits and how to test them. Information will be presented on tools needed and their uses. Each student will need to bring with them to class a common household type pliers and 2 screwdrivers, a regular flat tip and a cross tip (Phillips) one for the “Hands-on” exercise.
