Coffee Shop Band Gr. 4-5

Coffee Shop Band is an exciting musical opportunity for students to explore their musical interests and realize their full musical potential. Students will learn to develop their singing and instrumental skills (ukulele, baritone ukulele, percussion) to play and dissect songs they enjoy listening to.

This class is funded through Extended Learning through Minneapolis Public Schools. Every student who is in an Extended Learning class after school must have a Continuous Learning Plan (CLP) that will need to be signed by a Parent/Guardian and returned. Your child's after school teacher will send this form home with your child the first week of class.

This class begins on October 19th and ends on January 11th.

**The deadline to request after school bussing beginning the first day was September 23rd. Registering after that day will result in a delay in a bus stop being available. You will be notified when a stop is available.

"Coffee Shop Band" es una emocionante oportunidad musical para que los estudiantes exploren sus intereses musicales y desarrollen todo su potencial en este ámbito. Los alumnos aprenderán a desarrollar sus habilidades vocales e instrumentales (ukelele, ukelele barítono, percusión) para interpretar y analizar las canciones que disfrutan escuchar.

Esta clase está financiada a través del programa de Aprendizaje Extendido (Extended Learning) de las Escuelas Públicas de Minneapolis. Todo estudiante que participe en una clase de Aprendizaje Extendido después del horario escolar debe contar con un Plan de Aprendizaje Continuo (CLP, por sus siglas en inglés), el cual deberá ser firmado por un padre o tutor y devuelto. El maestro de la actividad extracurricular enviará este formulario a casa con su hijo durante la primera semana de clases.
Esta clase comienza el 19 de octubre y finaliza el 11 de enero.
**La fecha límite para solicitar transporte escolar para después de clases, comenzando el primer día, fue el 23 de septiembre. Inscribirse después de esa fecha supondrá un retraso en la disponibilidad de una parada de autobús. Se le notificará cuando haya una parada disponible.**
