Urban Forest Bathing at North Mississippi Regional Park

You don’t have to have a passport or board a plane to experience the healing properties of forest bathing, a meditation practice that originated in Japan. Right in our own backyard of the Camden neighborhood at North Mississippi Regional Park you can join a guided forest bathing experience where you can disconnect from technology and connect with nature.

This is not a hike. You will be guided to move at a snail’s space and invited to open your senses of sound, smell, touch and taste. Don’t worry. We won’t be eating trees. Rather after approximately an hour of forest bathing we will share a cup of herbal tea. You will learn about the history and health benefits of forest therapy.

Wear warm, comfortable clothes and bring your curiosity.
