Crochet 1 (Roosevelt)

Learn and gain comfort with the basic building blocks of crochet! Come with yarn and hooks appropriate for the yarn weight of your choice. We will practice tension, make swatches of each stitch learned, create granny squares, tackle the “magic loop” and discuss appropriate uses of stitches and how to read patterns for future projects. (Feel free to bring in an easy-intermediate level project to begin working on as well!) Bring your own supplies: pick a yarn you like working with and also buy a hook size appropriate for the yarn weight (which is listed on yarn labels!).
