Once your classroom portion with Community Education is over, you must arrange, schedule, and pay for Behind-the-Wheel Training separately with your choice of provider. Expect to pay $350+. To register, parents/guardians need to create an account/profile and then add the student's information. If the class is full, add your student to the waitlist. You must join the waitlist with a valid method of payment: either card or bank account information. Payment will not be collected until the student is placed into the class. If you don’t see a class listed for your child’s school, check with your school’s Community Education staff. Community Education uses a sliding scale model for program fees so our programs can be financially sustainable and more equitable. Participants are asked to pick the price that they are able to pay. By more clearly articulating our lower cost options, we have removed the barrier that some may have felt in making scholarship requests. When participants sign up at the higher price levels, they help make the program more sustainable. Regardless of the price you choose, the instruction, content and quality remain the same.
