St. Paul Saints Game & Tour of 'City of Baseball' Museum with Frank M. White (Southwest)Trips, Tours & Special EventsWatch the St. Paul Saints take on the Louisville Bats! Before the game we will join Frank M. White, author of "They Played for the Love of the Game", for his tour of the 'City of Baseball' Museum located within CHS Field. Then we'll stay and take in all the fun at the St. Paul Saints game. Following the game there will be food trucks and fireworks! Seats are located in Home Plate Reserved (Section 111). Game held and tour held at CHS Field is located at 360 N Broadway St, St Paul, MN 55101. Group meets at MetroNOME Brewery between 4 and 4:15 pm so we can walk across the street to CHS Field together. Come early to socialize before the game! - MetroNOME is located inside the Market House Condominium Association - 385 Broadway St, St Paul, MN 55101 Tour begins at 4:30 pm. Game begins at 6:07 pm. WaitlistAutumn colour from the landing (flickr) (CC BY 2.0)Stained Glass (Ella Baker)Arts & CraftsLearn the art of stained glass design and building with John Hanson, Owner of Longfellow Soap Company, who has been designing, making, repairing, and restoring antique stained glass windows for 23 years. All tools and materials will be provided and each student will take home a small window. Safety glasses must be brought and used while cutting the glass. Learn how to make, cut, and use patterns, cut and grind glass, tape your glass with copper foil, solder your glass, add patina to color the solder, finish the edges with a zinc border, and clean and polish the finished window. Learn how to frame your window with wood. Please wear hard toe shoes and long sleeved top. No fleece or sweaters that can catch glass chips as you cut.Adult Enrichment Spring 2026 -

WaitlistStreet Safe Bike Explorers (May only) Gr. 3-5 M/WBartonExplore the mechanics of the standard road bike, learn about gearing up and down, How to do ABC (air,brake,chain) checks, and how to properly adjust bike helmets and use hand signals in order to be a 'Street Safe' biker. We will start out by biking to neighborhood parks and around the lake Harriet parkway, and then work our way up to biking on the Midtown Greenway. Students are encouraged to bring their own helmet and water bottle. Bikes will be available for students who do not have access to a bike from home. Instructor: Eric Knutson This class starts on May 4th and ends on May 13th (2 weeks). Note: Community Education uses a sliding scale model for program fees so our afterschool programs can be financially sustainable and more equitable. Families are asked to pick the price that they are able to pay. The cost of the class is listed first. By more clearly articulating our lower cost options, we have removed the barrier that some may have felt in making scholarship requests. When families participate at the higher price levels, they help make the program more sustainable.
