Originally designed to counter the 1950s post war suburban boom by revitalizing the city's retail core, today the second story walkways connect 80 city blocks and meander more than 9 miles. This is a great way to see the city -- inside and out -- during cool weather, hot weather, rainy days and the brutally long Minnesota winter, so pretty much year-round! There are so many treasures within downtown's unique architectural landscape, and the skyway system is sometimes the only way to see them. Highlights: Foshay Tower, IDS Center (tallest building in Minneapolis), Capella Tower, Wells Fargo Center, Target Arena, Government Plaza, Minneapolis City Hall, Minneapolis Public Service Building (public art collection), Nicollet Mall, The Dayton's Project, and the Mary Tyler Moore Statue Tour is limited to 12 people, so sign up before it sell out! Snapology: Thinker Bots (Gr. K-2)Sanford Super Summer CampsSnapology’s ThinkerBots focuses on building robotic creations that make our everyday lives more fun or interesting! Whether it’s an invention to help them enjoy viewing the night sky or a creation to help deal with excess garbage students will have a blast working with their classmates as they build & explore the basics of robotics. They will learn about a wide array of STEAM concepts as they build! They will learn the basics of coding and use that knowledge to make their creations move! Practice basic skills and positions of the sport, and play scrimmages to build on those skills. Register your child for a morning class and an afternoon class and we will provide lunch and supervision free of charge from 12-1 pm.
