Handcrafted Meats and Natural Ciders in MN - Guided Tasting Experience with Lowry Hill Provision Proprietor Eric Sather and Cidermaker/Orchardist Nate Watters (Southwest)Trips, Tours & Special EventsDon’t miss this once a year opportunity to experience the world of cured meat (salumi) produced by Lowry Hill Provisions and Keepsake Cidery spontaneously fermented ciders and wines in a curated event by the makers. A selection of 5 specially prepared meat and cider/wine pairings will take you on a deep dive into testing and trusting your pallet, learning more about nuances and layers of flavor, and educate you on the time honored processes that go into making these products. Meet Erik Sather - owner / operator of Lowry Hill Provisions in Northeast Minneapolis - who throughout his life has had a strong connection to food from his youth spent on a southern MN farm to years of cooking in some of Minneapolis' best restaurants. His connection to land, food and people led to opening his salumaria, which has been a process of passion, luck, and community. Collaborating on this day with friend Nate of Keepsake Cidery who has made it his life’s work to produce spontaneously fermented natural ciders and wines from regional fruit, the two together will knock your socks off on this journey of flavor. Go home with your own selection of cured meats and ciders and wines with 10% off purchase from that day included as a benefit to attending. Enjoy all the Keepsake Tasting Room has to offer before and after the event with their local food menu, afternoon live music and orchard strolls.
