Everly Farms Apple Picking & Smoked Meat DinnerTrips, Tours & Special EventsCelebrate the start of apple season with an evening built around the orchard. Guests will begin with a guided walk around the Everly Farms property before heading into the orchard for apple picking; each person will take home a half peck of apples. Apple type is subject to seasonal availability. After the orchard experience, guests will gather for a family-style smoked meat dinner featuring BBQ platters served family-style, followed by Chef Tom’s apple pie for dessert. Students can participate in activities like open gym, low-key games, drawing and reading. To ensure that our high-quality enrichment classes are accessible to all families, Minneapolis Community Education is now offering fees on a sliding scale. The different prices reflect the average cost of offering a class as well as a discounted option and options that help us cover our administrative costs. Fees cover instructor pay, most class supplies, program materials, marketing and scholarships. Families are asked to pick the price that they are able to pay. As always, we will continue to offer additional financial assistance upon request.
