Moon River Cruise on the Mississippi Starring Raymond Berg & Friends (Southwest)Trips, Tours & Special EventsCome experience the romance of the Mississippi on a singular musical cruise, featuring a fabulous combo of singers and musicians who bring familiar popular and classic songs from the Great American Songbook to life. Cruise along the river as you relax and enjoy the music from aboard the Magnolia Blossom paddleboat. Raymond Berg, long time Twin Cities’ bandleader and musical director, is joined by Christian Wheeler on guitar, with vocalists Randy Schmeling and Imani Harris. Together they will delight you with songs from the rich American heritage of music inspired by our beautiful rivers and lakes, and the grandeur of the world of nature all around us. Meet at the Watergate Marina, 2500 Crosby Farm Road, Saint Paul Minnesota, 55116. Crosby Farm Road is at the intersection of Shepherd Road and Gannon Road. Transportation to the Watergate Marina is on your own. Beverages will be available to purchase on board the boat. You may bring your own food. Note: There is a ramp down to boat. Mushroom Hunting 1Home & GardenDiscover the world of mushrooms in this 3-hour hands-on beginner mushroom hunting hike with Ironwood Foraging Co. Lead Guide, Tim Clemens. You'll learn how to find and safely identify edible wild mushrooms. Mushroom hunting equipment, mushroom identification skills, fungal biology, mushroom recipes, and resources to continue your learning will all be covered. Location is within one hour of Minneapolis and will be emailed to attendees prior to the workshop. Walking distance ~1-3 miles. NOTE: Location is within one hour of Minneapolis. If we go to a State Park, that there will be an additional $7 Daily/$35 annual vehicle entry permit needed that can be purchased at the State Park entrance office.
