Moon River Cruise on the Mississippi Starring Raymond Berg & Friends (Southwest)

You’ve probably heard him and not even known it! Raymond is often tucked into the darkened orchestra pit at the Ordway where he’s been involved with over 35 shows serving in varying capacities as Music Director, Conductor, Arranger and Performer. But long before that his jingle music was tucked into the corners of countless radio and TV commercials in the 80’s and 90’s (think McDonald’s, Perkins, Target, Arctic Cat ).

A veteran of theaters, clubs, ballrooms and cabarets his work he is a recipient of two Ivey Awards as Best Music Director (Love, Janis Ordway and Urinetown Jungle Theater).

His musical arrangements have been published by both Music Theatre International and Rodgers and Hammerstein groups, featuring vocal charts for Forever Plaid- Plaid Tidings and the Andrew Sisters musical Sisters of Swing. 

Imani is a Minnesota-based actor and musical theater performer with a passion for bold characters and storytelling.
Their stage credits include the Witch in Into the Woods, Motormouth Maybelle in Hairspray, Belle in Beauty and the Beast, and Jane in Loveville High.
Additional theater work includes Radium Girls, Much Ado About Nothing, Four Little Girls:
Birmingham 1963, and A Christmas Carol.

Imani has trained in an intensive performing arts program studying tap, jazz, ballet, acting, and vocal performance.

Randy Schmeling, an acclaimed singer and actor, has been performing in the Twin Cities for more than 20 years.. He’s appeared on stage at The Ordway, Chanhassen Dinner Theatres, History Theatre, Theater Latte Da, Illusion Theater, Park Square, Crooners and many more, both nationally and internationally.
