ALC Math & Optical Art (Gr. 3-5)

Get ready to challenge your brain! Ms. Feldt will be teaching our ALC Math & Optical Art class for the first time this fall! Students will discover how math can be used to create amazing optical art! Through exploring different math skills, students will create artwork that pops, moves, and creates incredible illusions. Students will experiment with lines, shapes, and repetition to design their own masterpieces! Come create, solve problems, and discover the surprising connection between math and optical art!

Note: Minneapolis Community Education has adjusted our pricing model for after school programs to maintain high quality programming while also responding to greater financial constraints. You will see the following pricing options when registering:

• Class Fee: This rate reflects the true cost of providing the program.
• Class Fee + Scholarship Fund: Families who are able to contribute more can select a rate above the class fee. The additional amount helps support our scholarship fund and provides access to reduced rates for other families.

Minneapolis Community Education is committed to making our classes accessible to all families. If you need a full or partial scholarship or would like to set up a payment plan, please contact Lizzie (Lizzie.Sanchez@mpls.k12.mn.us), Program Coordinator, to discuss available options. We’re happy to work with you to find an option that meets your needs! Extended Learning (ALC) classes are free.

NO CLASSES NOVEMBER 3rd & NOVEMBER 26th.
