Pottery: Hand Building (Marcy 55+)
This course is all about the tactile, meditative art of hand-building. Whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned maker, you will learn how to transform a simple lump of clay into functional and decorative art using only your hands and a few simple tools. We will focus on the unique textures and "perfect imperfections" that only hand-building can achieve. By the end of the class, you’ll have a collection of unique, handmade pieces and the skills to continue creating at home. No prior experience (or pottery wheel) required!
