Electric Foiling on a Wake Board (Southwest)
Join us for our Intro to E Foiling - Electric Foiling on a Wake Board! After a short intro, you will go out on Lake Nokomis and test your new skills.
Electric Foiling on a Wake Board is an introduction into the fun of eFoil riding! eFoils are wake boards with a mast and foil located on the very bottom. An electric motor for propulsion is located behind the foil.
Riders will learn the technical terms for different parts of the eFoil, syncing the control to the board, and starting the motor with the hand control to mount the board.
Riders will also learn to accelerate to plane-ing , and further to foil along with carve-ing. This class will meet you wherever you are physically. The boards are designed for riders under 260 pounds, but everyone is welcome to try.
There is no correct way to ride—even riding on your front laying down like Superman (or super person) is one of the best experiences- about as close to flying without a valid pilot’s license. The only way to fail this class is to not arrive.
