Recycled Jewelry (Roosevelt)

Use recycled & thrifted materials as you learn how to assembly jewelry to make earrings, a bracelet, or a necklace. All materials will be provided but students are encouraged to bring their own old jewelry to take apart and make new again!

If class is full, please enroll for the waitlist. We will contact you if a space becomes available.

Kate Urmann

Art Instructor

Kate Urmann (she/her) has been working as an artist in local art markets for over two years and is so excited to share her process and teach others to be able to create what they have been dreaming up. She has knowledge in resin, jewelry, woodworking, stained glass, sewing, and so much more. Kate believes it is so empowering to be able to make the things we put in our homes and realize that we are capable of so much more than we thought. We know creating art goes beyond simply making a thing, it's expression, it's practice, it's whatever you put into it, and it can be so fun to know "I can make that". Kate values cultivating a safe and accessible space, whatever that can mean, especially for marginalized folks; please reach out if there are any accommodations she can make for you.
