Yoga and Mindfulness (Ella Baker)
Yoga asana (physical postures) prepare the mind for stillness. In this all-levels class, we will practice postures for 60 minutes and end with a 15 minute meditation. Modification and options will always be offered. We will learn about the history of yoga asana practice and the physiological and neurological benefits of yoga asana and meditation, too. Everyone and every body is welcome!

Yoga/Meditation Instructor
Katie is a 200-hour trained yoga instructor as well as a youth trauma informed trained yoga instructor and trained youth mindfulness instructor. She has spent the last 12 years teaching yoga and mindfulness in schools and to adults. She is currently a MPS teacher and loves teaching with community ed because the students are so RAD!
