Painting: Watercolor 1 (Ella Baker)

Carrie has dabbled in arts and crafts of various flavors since she was a wee child. Her favorite mediums for two-dimensional art include oil paint, pen and ink, pencil, and watercolor. She also loves mixed media, needle felting, clay sculpture, and occasionally textile work. If she had her druthers, she would be teaching and making art full-time. However, she pays the bills as a full-time teacher for Minneapolis Public Schools. She occasionally has time to do commissioned works, including portraits of people and pets.

Carrie loves teaching watercolor at Ella Baker and hopes to continue as long as there is demand!
