Biking: Introduction to Bicycle Touring (Roosevelt)

Bicycle touring allows you to explore slow roads, bike trails, and campgrounds that could be nearby, in different states or different countries. This workshop will show how to get started with low-cost gear and routes that are simple and scenic. Learn everything you need to prepare for an overnight stay or longer camping trips. Steven Malikowski will lead this class and use his experience with bike touring in the US, UK, and EU.

Steven Malikowski has enjoyed cycling in all seasons for years. In the summer, he’s cycled for thousands of miles exploring states and countries by bike, but in the winter, he enjoys slow rides through a winter woods on his fat-bike. He also loves helping people get started with any kind of cycling.
