This full-year class is perfect for students who enjoy acting and/or design and crafting. Using familiar fairy tales as a starting point, students will explore the ensemble building, acting techniques, and design elements needed to turn an idea into a play. Calling all third through fifth graders! Join Ms. Rebecca and friends after school for fun in choir class! Create joyful music together as we sing everything from global folk songs to the latest Broadway hits. We will we work on proper singing technique, self-expression and creating community. We will also discover what the music means to us personally as we study the culture, meaning, and history of the music we sing. Kanga Choir is a year long class and does not require re-registration

Plan a party from idea to celebration in Party Planning 101! Students will make real planning choices and finish with a celebration they design and host together. Every session is different, so students can take the class again and have a new experience each time. Participants rotate through a variety of gym-based games, relays, and team challenges that build teamwork, coordination, and movement skills. Sessions include dodgeball variations, kickball style games, frisbee based activities and challenges, and group competitions to keep participants active and engaged. No prior experience is required. Snapology’s ThinkerBots focuses on building robotic creations that make our everyday lives more fun or interesting! Whether it’s an invention to help them enjoy viewing the night sky or a creation to help deal with excess garbage, students will have a blast working with their classmates as they build & explore the basics of robotics. They will learn about a wide array of STEAM concepts as they build! They will learn the basics of coding and use that knowledge to make their creations move! We will support them in the development of their coding and building skills, guide them through exciting math-based extension activities, and inspire them with creative challenges.
