Students seeking more opportunities to play band instruments in an ensemble can do so while getting an introduction to the exciting world of jazz! Students will learn about the history of the music, the development of jazz rhythm and chord structures, and will learn and practice improvisation! This course is open to students who have two or more years playing experience on the instrument.

This is an introductory course in American Sign Language, which is not currently offered at Anthony but is, however, offered at Southwest High School. If you’d like to give the language a try before taking it in High School, this is a great course for you!

For students interested in the behind the scenes efforts that make the Anthony musical successful! Students interested in Hospitality, Costuming, Prop Making, Set Design and Painting, Lights, Sound, and Stage Crew should sign up!
