Writing with others allows you to ride a wind of play and inspiration you can not access when writing solo. Grab your pen, step into a series of prompts and style options, and enjoy interaction with your classmates. Open to all levels, first timer to experienced. Life is filled with stress and challenges. We all have our stuff, and our stuff is as varied and individual as we are. Personal and reflective writing is a deeply effective and clinically proven tool for meeting yourself where you’re at and navigating your path. Checking in with yourself and writing whatever comes is a practice in mindfulness and a form of meditation. We will work with prompts and guided exercises that exceed standard journaling practices, but don’t go as deep into neuroscience as our Intuitive Writing courses do. We will borrow a few exercises from IW along the way, but an Intuitive Writing class is NOT a prerequisite. We will meet in December when "me time" is often scarce, but most needed.
