Facing Death Without Faith (Ella Baker)Health, Wellness & SafetyThe end of life is not just a physical event; it is a profound spiritual and existential journey of meaning and connection. This course offers a non-religious approach to navigating this final chapter by giving people the language and tools to find peace, purpose, and dignity. Based on the educator's experience serving as a chaplain in hospice, we will explore how to have deep, life-affirming conversations about death and dying without relying on any specific faith tradition. This is an invitation to tell the most loving and coherent story we can about our existence, and one that fully encompasses our final moments. The goal is to move toward the end of life with love, joy, hope, clarity, and a sense of completeness, whatever one's personal beliefs may be.Adult Enrichment Fall 2026 -
Dreams, Healing, and the Inner Life (Ella Baker)Personal DevelopmentThis course invites you into a grounded and deeply human way of working with dreams. Rather than searching for universal meanings, we will explore how every part of a dream reflects something within ourselves. Together, we will learn how to sit with dreams, allowing their meaning to emerge, and to understand how they are shaped by memory, experience, emotion, and imagination. Overall, you are invited to begin welcoming your dreams as a reliable and meaningful source of insight, healing, and self-understanding. If you are willing, you are encouraged to bring one or two dreams to share, as some dreams may be explored together during our time.Adult Enrichment Fall 2026
