Creation of Minnehaha Falls, the Dakotas, explorers, soldiers, tourists, celebrities, neighbors, poets, millers, politicians, celebrants, artists, musicians, wild animals, carnivals, children, Scandinavians, foodies, churches, activists, governors, runners, a hermit and even more will be revealed on this ¾ mile walk through Minnehaha Falls Park. Maureen Trepp, long time resident and Mpls. historian, will share the history of the land, culture, and people who have lived in and enjoyed this unique and much visited public park. Group will meet at the bridge over the top of Minnehaha Falls at 6:00 for a 1 ½ hour tour. There are 2 Blue light rail line stops near the park and parking in a pay lot on the north end of the park.
