Sewing 1 (Southwest)Arts & CraftsFor sewers with a basic sewing understanding and some experience; not for brand new sewers. Learn to use a sewing machine and complete a teacher-selected project. During the first class, we will practice threading and adjusting stitches, discuss patterns, fabric selection and determine your size. Expect to purchase a pattern, fabric and notions by the second class. Students should bring their own sewing machine, if possible. Work outside of class may be necessary to complete a teacher-selected project (pajama pants). If class is full, please enroll for the waitlist. Sewing 2 (Southwest)Arts & CraftsMust have previously completed Sewing 1. Use a sewing machine and complete a garment. Expect to purchase a pattern, fabric, notions. Learn to make buttonholes, or embellishments. There are sewing machines, supplies available. Students should bring their own sewing machine, if possible.
