Intro to Hand Stitching & Mending (Justice Page)Arts & CraftsMending clothing with functional and decorative stitching is a great way to embellish clothing and make art for your home. This class is perfect for absolute beginners to hand stitching and folks who need a refresher. We'll cover five stitch types, learn about stencils, and do hands-on stitching. In this fun and supportive class, you’ll learn the essential do’s and don’ts of machine sewing while completing a simple, practical project—a reversible tote bag. By the end of class, you’ll feel confident using a sewing machine and proud of your finished creation. Note: You must either use one of our classroom machines or have completed the Machine Empowerment: Getting to Know Your Home Sewing Machine class before enrolling.
