Week 7: Fairies & Mythical Creatures (Grades 1-3)Olson Super Summer CampsWelcome to our magical world of Fairies & Mythical Creatures, a fun adventure where we'll discover amazing beings like sparkling fairies, brave dragons, and wise unicorns from stories around the globe, learning about their special powers, different cultures, and creating our own magical tales through crafts, stories, and creative activities to boost imagination, vocabulary, and cultural understanding! Note: Community Education uses a sliding scale model for program fees so our programs can be financially sustainable and more equitable. Participants are asked to pick the price that they can pay. By more clearly articulating our lower cost options, we have removed the barrier that some may have felt in making scholarship requests. When participants sign up at the higher price levels, they help make the program more sustainable. CANCELLATION & TRANSFER REFUND POLICY Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis, and many classes fill quickly. Contact the Site Coordinator to cancel a class or transfer to another class. Full refunds will be issued if a class is cancelled due to low enrollment. In the event of inclement or severe weather, the district will decide whether to cancel, in which case a refund will be given for the time missed. Single week AM and PM classes and multi-week classes have different deadlines and cancellation fees, see below. Single Week AM or PM Class: Cancellation requests before 4 pm the Wednesday before the class start date will receive a refund, minus a $15 transaction fee. No refunds will be granted after that time. We'll sort wild animals from tame ones, mimic how different creatures move (like tigers stalking or penguins waddling!), learn cool animal facts, and develop empathy for all living things. Through stories, songs, creative play, and simple science explorations, we'll build our vocabulary and curiosity about the diverse creatures that share our world.
