Originally designed to counter the 1950s post war suburban boom by revitalizing the city's retail core, today the second story walkways connect 80 city blocks and meander more than 9 miles. This is a great way to see the city — inside and out — during cool weather, hot weather, rainy days and the brutally long Minnesota winter, so pretty much year-round! There are so many treasures within downtown's unique architectural landscape, and the skyway system is sometimes the only way to see them. Highlights: Foshay Tower, IDS Center (tallest building in Minneapolis), Capella Tower, Wells Fargo Center, Target Arena, Government Plaza, Minneapolis City Hall, Minneapolis Public Service Building (public art collection), Nicollet Mall, The Dayton's Project, and the Mary Tyler Moore Statue Tour is limited to 12 people, so sign up before it sell out! Learn the rules and techniques of soccer and make friends with your new teammates! Practice basic skills and positions of the sport, and play scrimmages to build on those skills. Register your child for a morning class and an afternoon class and we will provide lunch and supervision free of charge from 12-1 pm. When signing up for the morning class, you will be able to choose the option “Stay for free lunch and recess from 12:00 – 1:00 pm” as you complete your registration. This is a separating class (child and caregiver spend time together and apart). The age range listed for this class is based on the child's age on the date the class session begins. Early childhood time focuses on developing school readiness skills through play and learning activities. Caregiver education focuses on topics relevant to a preschooler & preparing children for kindergarten. A limited number of Infants 0-4 months are welcome to stay with caregivers during discussion time. Please enroll your young infant only in the Sibling Care option. NOTE: These young infants will remain with the caregivers during discussion time. ECFE classes are priced on a sliding fee schedule based on family income. Please choose the fee that best fits your family budget. A 10% surcharge will be applied to fees for Non-Minneapolis residents.
