Brush up on your painting skills. Dabble in watercolors, tempera and finger paint to create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Register your child for a morning class and an afternoon class and we will provide lunch and supervision free of charge from 12-1 pm. When signing up for the morning class, you will be able to choose the option “Stay for free lunch and recess from 12:00 – 1:00 pm” as you complete your registration. To ensure that our high-quality enrichment classes are accessible to all families, Minneapolis Community Education offers fees on a sliding scale. The class fee is the average cost of offering a class. Families are asked to pick the class fee or the price that they are able to pay. This event combines casual pickleball with light icebreakers and fun challenges at the start of each game, helping players meet new friends and build connections. Play with different partners throughout the event, share laughs, and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow pickleball enthusiasts. All skill levels are welcome! Minneapolis Pickleball Club is the Twin Cities’ premier destination for pickleball enthusiasts. Professional, dedicated pickleball courts (no gym floors or taped lines!), vibrant lounge spaces, and free parking in a private lot make it the perfect place to play, connect, and have fun! This hands-on "Prop Food" class teaches students to create realistic props for the stage, photography, and art projects. Students learn sculpting techniques, texturing, and painting skills to make fake food (e.g., sushi, pastries) that looks good enough to eat. Grades are the year your student will be entering in the Fall. Community Education uses a sliding scale model for program fees so our summer programs can be financially sustainable and more equitable. The different prices reflect the average cost of offering a class as well as discounted options and options that help us cover our administrative costs. Families are asked to pick the price that they are able to pay. Structured Query Language (SQL) is the industry standard database programming language. It is one of the most in demand skills in occupations that require interaction with data and analyzing data. Through your knowledge of Structured Query Language, you will become more marketable in computer related career fields that pertain to database administration.
