Little Mermaid KIDS Musical (Loring Grades 3-5)
This dynamic performance class invites young actors of all skill levels to step into the enchanting world of Ariel, Flounder, Sebastian, and Ursula. Over the course of the session, students will experience the entire theatrical process—from auditions and character development to learning choreography, vocals, and stage presence. It all culminates in a spectacular live performance of this beloved musical for family and friends! -
Loring Leaders Basketball Team (Loring Grades 4-5)
Get active and build your skills on the court! Students will learn teamwork, practice drills, and play games in a fun, supportive environment. Students on the Loring Leopards basketball team will compete against other MPS schools including Lucy Laney, Cityview, Nelli Stone Johnson & more beginnning in January! -
Loring Leaders Flag Football (Loring Grades 3-5)
Have fun with friends in this fast growing intramural sport! Flag football is a non contact sport in which teams compete to get touchdowns and steal flags from other players belts in order to "tackle". Practice your team work, perfect your strategy, and run in the sun! -

Perfect for beginners and experienced planeswalkers alike, this class introduces students to the ultimate game of wits, math, and critical thinking. Players will build their own custom decks, command powerful creatures, and cast legendary spells to outsmart their opponents in a friendly, social setting. It is the perfect afternoon activity for kids who love fantasy stories, complex puzzles, and tactical gaming. -
Northern Star Scouts (Loring Grades K-1)
Co-Ed Cub Scouts lets youth explore and have hands-on experiences with kids their age. This program helps students build confidence, personal achievement, and respect for themselves and others. Readers Theatre (Loring Grades K-2)
Readers Theater, the exciting, low-stress performance experience that turns reading into a fun, collaborative adventure.If your child loves stories but gets nervous about memorizing lines or speaking in front of crowds, Readers Theater is the perfect fit. Because children read directly from scripts, the pressure is off, allowing them to focus entirely on bringing characters to life using their voices, expressions, and imagination. It is a fantastic, supportive environment where every child gets to shine, build lasting friendships, and discover the joy of performing. -
Swim Lessons with V3 (Loring Grades 3-5)
Learn the basics of swimming with the gudance of a skilled V3 Swim Instuctor. Students will be transported to and from V3 in cabs. A Loring afterschool staff member will be traveling with students to the facilities and back. Students required to bring their own swim suits and towels. -

Unleash your inner artist! Students will experiment with colors, textures, and techniques to create their own masterpieces. A fun way to explore creativity and self-expression. -
