Cooking Lab: Around the World (Grades 2-5)

In this after-school class students will make exciting, kid-friendly foods inspired by delicious recipes. Students will mix, measure, and make delicious recipes and treats. Along the way, they’ll practice cooking skills, kitchen safety, and how to work together as a team. Every class is about having fun, being creative, and enjoying the food they make in class! (Please provide all known food allergies at the time of your student's registration)

Note: Minneapolis Community Education has adjusted our pricing model for after school programs to maintain high quality programming while also responding to greater financial constraints. You will see the following pricing options when registering:

• Class Fee: This rate reflects the true cost of providing the program.
• Class Fee + Scholarship Fund: Families who are able to contribute more can select a rate above the class fee. The additional amount helps support our scholarship fund and provides access to reduced rates for other families.

We’re happy to work with you to find an option that meets your needs! Extended Learning (ALC) classes are free.
