Movies & Storytelling (Grades K-1)

Does your student enjoy movies and being creative? In our new Movie & Storytelling afterschool class, students will step into the world of movies and storytelling through fun, hands on activities! From watching different parts of a movie or film, students will create characters, design movie scenes, and tell stories through playful activities. Students will practice teamwork, self expression, and storytelling. At the end of our Fall session, students will create a short "film" to share with parents during our last day of class, December 14th.

Note: Minneapolis Community Education has adjusted our pricing model for after school programs to maintain high quality programming while also responding to greater financial constraints. You will see the following pricing options when registering:

• Class Fee: This rate reflects the true cost of providing the program.
• Class Fee + Scholarship Fund: Families who are able to contribute more can select a rate above the class fee. The additional amount helps support our scholarship fund and provides access to reduced rates for other families.

This course has a $20 supply fee which is included in the cost of the class.
