Robotics: GEMS & GISE (Gr. 4-5)
Robotics: GEMS & GISE is Tuesdays and Wednesdays for the whole school year. Students must attend both days and will be registered for Session 1, 2, and 3 during this registration.
Working together with LEGO building elements, motors, and sensors, students will build various robot prototypes. Students will program these robots to move, react, and make sounds, applying their skills to solve design challenges.
This class will run Session 1 (October 19 - January 20), Session 2 (January 25 - April 01).
Students will be enrolled for all dates meaning families need to sign up only once for the school year. At the end of Session 2, the class will present student robots and projects.
This is an Extended learning class. Extended Learning classes (ALC) are offered by licensed teachers, incorporate academic state standards, and are free to all participants.
