Spreading Joy:  Making Holiday Jams (South)

Get ready to spread some holiday cheer with our delightful jam-making workshop! This engaging class offers you the chance to gain research-based knowledge and hands-on experience in creating two festive jams. You'll learn to make Raspberry Freezer Jam and boiling-water canned Holiday Jam, both of which you can take home to enjoy and/or gift to others. The class covers everything from food safety and acidity to the proper equipment, food and jar preparation, freezing, and boiling water canning techniques. Guided by the Hennepin County Master Gardener Volunteer Certified Food Preservation Consultants from the University of MN Extension, this workshop promises to be both educational and fun.
