Spanish 2 (Washburn)

Lorena Pup is a Spanish teacher from the Basque Country, Spain, with a strong academic background in language education. She holds degrees in Early Childhood and Primary Education from the University of the Basque Country, along with a Master’s in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. Fluent in Basque, Spanish, and English, Lorena brings both linguistic expertise and cultural insight to her teaching.

With five years of experience in education—including teaching in both Spain and the United States—she is currently in her third year teaching in Minneapolis Public Schools. Lorena is known for her positive energy, engaging teaching style, and passion for helping students feel confident and connected while learning Spanish.

A self-proclaimed coffee lover who enjoys music and dancing, Lorena once dreamed of becoming a hairstylist or artist—but found her true calling in the classroom instead. Her classes are lively, welcoming, and full of enthusiasm… and she’s genuinely excited to meet her students and start this learning journey together!
