Family Book Club - The Family Chapter (Marcy)
Bring the whole family for evenings of story-driven creativity! "The Family Chapter" is designed for elementary-aged children and their grown-ups to experience the magic of a great book together. Each session, we’ll read-aloud exploring exciting worlds, meeting unforgettable characters, and sparking big conversations.
But the story doesn't end when we close the book. After our reading, we’ll transition into "Maker Mode," where families work together on a hands-on craft or STEAM-based activity inspired by the day’s story. Whether we’re building cardboard inventions, mixing "magic potions," or creating character art, this club is about making memories and making things!

Instructor
Mrs. Bradley believes that learning is at its best when it feels like family. As a Youth & Adult Program Coordinator and a retired educator with a global perspective, her career in education has spanned from Minnesota and Florida to the classrooms of Jamaica and The Bahamas. Throughout her journey, she has served as a SPED coordinator, curriculum specialist, learning coach, and Principal—but her absolute favorite role is fostering a love for reading and helping others grow.
Mrs. Bradley brings her deep passion for storytelling and community to the Family Book Club, creating a welcoming environment where generations can connect, share perspectives, and uplift one another through literature. Outside of the club, she is a devoted wife, a mother of three (including twin girls and a son), and a proud "Nana" who finds her joy in her faith and the great outdoors.
