Capitalism, socialism, anarchism, fascism, democracy...What do these and similar terms really mean? What type of society does each describe? We will discuss these terms, as well as concepts we can use to make sense of conflicting definitions.

I have a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Minnesota, with an emphasis on political theory. I have also done graduate work in philosophy. I spent my career in the public sector and have a lifetime of engagement with political action and ideas. Understanding our current situation and possibilities going forward is a passion.
