Cardboard Creations (Waite Park Gr. 1-5)

A creativity-packed class where imagination takes the lead! Using everyday cardboard, students will cut, build, design, and transform simple boxes into amazing works of art. From playful sculptures and cool structures to imaginative inventions, this class encourages creative thinking, problem-solving, and self-expression.

Note: In order to ensure that our high-quality enrichment classes are accessible to all families, Minneapolis Community Education is now offering fees on a sliding scale. We're moving to a sliding scale model for program fees so our afterschool programs can be financially sustainable and more equitable. The different prices reflect the average cost of offering a class as well as discounted options. Families are asked to pick the price that they are able to pay. When families participate as they are able, in all levels of our sliding scale, the whole program becomes self-sustaining.

  • Pricing Scale:
    • Class Fee - covers staffing and supply costs
    • Higher price levels 1 & 2 - supports sustainable programming & scholarships
    • Partial Scholarship price
    • Full Scholarship price
