Week 1-3: Cheerleading (Grade 1-6)
Get ready to bring the noise and raise the spirit in our high-energy "Cheer FX" class! This program is designed for everyone, with no experience necessary. You'll build strength, coordination, and serious self-confidence while mastering the fundamentals in a fun, supportive environment. We'll cover everything from powerful jumps and sharp motions to basic stunting, fun dance routines, and introductory tumbling like cartwheels and rolls. Come discover the thrill of the mat, make new friends, and unleash your inner star!

Note: Community Education uses a sliding scale model for program fees so our programs can be financially sustainable and more equitable. Participants are asked to pick the price that they can pay. By more clearly articulating our lower cost options, we have removed the barrier that some may have felt in making scholarship requests. When participants sign up at the higher price levels, they help make the program more sustainable.
CANCELLATION & TRANSFER REFUND POLICY
Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis, and many classes fill quickly. Contact the Site Coordinator to cancel a class or transfer to another class. Full refunds will be issued if a class is cancelled due to low enrollment. In the event of inclement or severe weather, the district will decide whether to cancel, in which case a refund will be given for the time missed. Single week AM and PM classes and multi-week classes have different deadlines and cancellation fees, see below.
Single Week AM or PM Class: Cancellation requests before 4 pm the Wednesday before the class start date will receive a refund, minus a $15 transaction fee. No refunds will be granted after that time.
TRANSFER: Transfers between classes can be made until 4:00 pm on the Tuesday before the class begins. If there is a difference in price between the two classes, we will automatically charge or credit the original payment method for the difference.
If there is a mistake in your registration, please email senamarie.bradley@mpls.k12.mn.us so we can assist you. Only our office can change a registration once it has been made. Provide the camper's first and last name, the class name, and the needed changes in the email.
Full day & Multi-Week Classes: No refunds granted within 2 weeks of the class start date. Cancellation requests on or before 4 pm on Friday, March 27, will receive a refund, minus a $50 transaction fee. Cancellation requests between March 27 and before 4 pm on May 8 will be charged 50% of the class fee.
