Urban Explorers: Rivers & Lakes (Gr. 6-9)

Get you out exploring the urban environment on bike while gaining a better understanding of our wonderful resources of your city. Beyond seeing the sights, you will learn more about bike maintenance and safety. Come with an adventurous spirit as you get around town under your own pedal power! Set out each day on bike to paved trails like the East River Road, West River Parkway and the Greenway. Gain confidence in getting around the city and use the light rail to get you to some farther off points.

Grades are the year your student will be entering in the fall. A lunch is available to all students. Please select this option when you register.

Community Education uses a sliding scale model for program fees so our summer programs can be financially sustainable and more equitable. The different prices reflect the average cost of offering a class as well as discounted options and options that help us cover our administrative costs. Families are asked to pick the price that they are able to pay.
