Bird Watching: How to Get Started (Ella Baker)
This class will get you started in birding. We will spend one evening in the classroom discussing what birds you can expect to see and how to identify them; how to choose binoculars, bird books and online resources; and good local birding spots. We will then spend two weekend mornings gaining field experience.

I have been a bird watcher since I was a kid many years ago. I have no formal training, just the training of experience, and I am always learning more. My birding experience is mainly in the Twin Cities and around Minnesota, with occasional birding trips to other parts of the country.
