Mending 101 (Roosevelt)

Find the meditative power of hand sewing, learn history of the craft and lessen your consumption by repairing your own clothes! Participants will walk away with a small mending kit, needles, string, and a reference guide for future mending endeavors.

Skills learned: five basic stitching and patching methods to repair your woven garments. In partnership with Curiosity Studio.

Accessibility: Previous sewing skills not required. Fine motor skills used in class.
