Exploring Public Art Bicycle Tour: Minnehaha Park and Midtown Greenway Public Art Bicycle Tour (Southwest)

Tour public art by bicycle.  We will begin with an overview of the Minneapolis Public Art Program. On the bicycle tour we will view art in Minnehaha Park, along River Road and the Midtown Greenway including Little Crow, Wish You Were Here, Personal Journeys, Return Journey, the Sabo Bridge, the 29th St. Woonerf art, Mosaic Art Park and others. 

A 15 mile ride on paved trails taking around 3 hours.

Tour starts and ends at Sea Salt in Minnehaha Park.

Bring your own bike and helmet.

Tour leader Greg Ingraham is a local artist, former landscape architect and planner and self-professed “bike weenie”. His public art focuses on functional items such as benches, bicycle racks, way-finding and gateways.
