The TANGLETOWN neighborhood has a storied history! Minneapolis architect HARRY WILD JONES called it home for 50 years. As an original area investor and first non-farming resident, Jones’ design legacy is forever stamped along its winding streets. His career of over 400 designs are well-known in Minneapolis—Lakewood Cemetery Chapel, Butler’s Square & Tangletown’s own Washburn Water Tower. Join the Harry Wild Jones Walking Tour of TT and learn the history of Jones’ life and work (why is his middle name WILD?). The walking tour will view a dozen of his existing designs including his private residence. Get a close-up view of the early residents that called Tangletown their Washburn Park home.
